The Clover A1c (HbA1c Analyzer) is a fully automated point-of-care (POC) testing device that uses boronate affinity to measure a person’s average blood sugar levels over three months by taking a sample of hemoglobin A1c molecules—a specific component of the red blood cells.

Being a completely automated system, all this analyzer requires from the user is to enter the blood in the capillary tube of the test cartridge and the result is shown on the screen in 5 minutes. The analyzer can use both capillary blood as well as venous whole blood as it requires only 4L blood.
